My Story
I’m incredibly lucky to have a wonderful family who are at the heart of everything I do. My husband is my biggest fan and constant supporter, and together we’re raising two daughters who are growing into the most awesome, creative and strong humans. They keep me grounded, inspired and always looking at the world with a little more curiosity.
My love of design started in a slightly unexpected way. I began teaching design at secondary schools, and along the way I discovered just how much I loved the creative process. I loved helping people understand how design can transform an idea, a space or even the way we experience our surroundings. Teaching gave me the confidence to explore that passion further, and eventually it became the foundation for starting my own business.
Today, design is still very much at the centre of what I do, but it has evolved into something that feels deeply connected to my love of nature. I have a particular passion for coastal native plants — their resilience, texture, colour and the way they belong so naturally in the landscapes around us. I’m fascinated by what makes plants thrive, from soil health and nutrition to choosing the right plant for the right place.
I can honestly talk about plants, soil nutrition and design until the cows come home! I love bringing all of these things together to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but practical, considered and connected to their environment.
For me, it’s about creating designs that feel good, work well and have a genuine sense of place — with a little bit of creativity, a lot of curiosity and plenty of love for the natural world.
